Our Team

Michael Q. Parker was an “honorable mention” all county high school point guard in his home state of basketball hotbed North Carolina. He was the team leader in steals and assists on teams which reached the state playoffs in each of his varsity seasons.

He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with an undergraduate degree in Sports (Recreation) Administration and a Masters in Public Administration. After a brief career in public service, he moved to Atlanta and obtained his MBA.

Following business school, Michael spent several years in Minneapolis working in product marketing for General Mills. During this time, he played on a top rated corporate team in Minnesota’s state wide recreation league. Following several relocations and promotions with various companies, Michael returned to Atlanta and eventually joined Cox Enterprises where he was promoted to vice president before reaching 40. Being bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, he left Cox and started an Internet media company.

Coach Neil Berrien has been coaching for over 15 years in Georgia. He has worked with an uncountable number of student athletes, helping them transition from recreational to competitive AAU and High School ball. Several players have gone on to play college basketball at all levels, JUCO, NAIA, DII, & major DI.

His athletes and teams have always been known for their great individual fundamental skills and unselfish team play. Their "No Excuses/Never Quit" attitude have been his teams calling card in innumerable first place tournament finishes. Yet the ordained deacon and youth pastor has served his community well and was honored with the JCPenney Golden Rule Award for community service and the National Association of Christian Athletes sportsmanship winner.

my mission is to offer educational opportunities to all student athletes, exposing them to up to date basketball skill training, tournament experiences, and biblical life lessons, while preparing them for high school, college and beyond.

An entrepreneur at heart, he graduated from Chattahoochee Tech and has been self employed since 1987. He currently owns a barber/beauty salon, a web design company and trains athletes in basketball.
